With over 20 years’ experience in a range of senior executive and governance roles, Social Traders welcomed Jason Glanville to its Board of Directors in March 2016.
Jason was the inaugural CEO of the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) based in Sydney (Redfern) for seven years, where he led the development of life-changing programs and learning opportunities for young indigenous people through the Centre’s social enterprises and facilities.
Prior to NCIE, Jason worked in a range of community based indigenous organisations, State and Federal Government and non-government peak organisations including Reconciliation Australia.
Jason is the Chair of the Australian Indigenous Governance Institute and a Director of Reconciliation Australia. He is also a member of the AFL Indigenous Advisory Group.
Jason brings impressive social enterprise and governance experience to the Social Traders Board as the organisation embarks on its next phase to accelerate the growth of social enterprise to create jobs for marginalised people, increase access to services and strengthen local communities.
